Friends of the College of the Desert Library

Our Mission Statement: To maintain an organization, based at the College of the Desert, to share the members’ enthusiasm for literature and libraries with the Coachella Valley Communities, and to raise funds to achieve those aims. 

Since its formation and incorporation in 1970, the Friends have supported the COD Library through a variety of activities.

Kate Quinn is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of historical fiction. She has written four novels in the Empress of Rome Saga, and two books in the Italian Renaissance, before turning to the 20th century with The Alice Network and The Huntress. Soon to be released is The Rose Code, a novel revealing the world of Enigma code-breakers.
